JACK KEARNEY
Jack Kearney, born and raised on Long Island, New York, nurtured a passion for the arts from a young age. His first love, music, led him to pursue a degree in Music Technology, Composition, and Performance at New York University. After graduating, he embarked on a 15-year journey at Apple Inc., where he honed his managerial skills leading technical support teams throughout New York.
During his travels to various destinations, including Thailand, Iceland, Ireland, and the southwestern and northwestern regions of the United States, Jack was captivated by the serene and diverse landscapes. This exposure ignited a passion for landscape photography, inspiring him to capture images that showcased the natural beauty of the world.
In 2024, Jack made a bold decision to leave his job at Apple and relocate to the picturesque northwest corner of Connecticut. This newfound haven provided him with an endless source of subtle beauty, fueling his creative pursuits as a professional photographer.
Since settling in West Cornwall, CT, Jack has showcased his work at multiple art venues, including the renowned Hen’s Nest Gallery in Washington, CT, and the prestigious Fine Art Festival. His dedication and talent have been recognized and rewarded by esteemed organizations such as the New England Camera Club Council and the Photographic Society of America.
In addition to his artistic endeavors, Jack actively contributes to the photography community by providing education and guidance to aspiring photographers, helping them enhance their skills behind the lens and in post-processing.
